Donegal Federation Irish Country Women's Association

To celebrate the ICAs 100 years in existence there will be a Tree planting ceremony at the Dungloe Hospital at 2pm before the Federation meeting in the Maghery Community Centre, Dungloe on Saturday 25th September at 3pm (note the change in time). The National President Anna Marie Dennison will be in attendance. Dungloe guild was the first guild to be opened in Donegal 100 years ago. The competition for this meeting is for the Millar Shield and is a Guild effort items required are Pot of home-made Raspberry Jam, Home-made Apple tart using short-crust pastry and 6 plain teas scones - home baked. On display at the federation meeting will be the VITA Project Quilt, made up of the June patchwork squares. This Quilt will be raffled at the Christmas Party. As many members as possible are requested to be in attendance on this day.
