Carlow History

Carlow Federation was founded in 1956 and currently has 14 Guilds.  Our activities include crafts, community development and involvement at all levels and representation of our members at national level.  Our newest Guild is Leighlinbridge and we welcome all the members there.

Every year the Carlow Federation has a tent at the Tullow Show – please come and visit to see more about what we do.  As part of our participation in the show we have a display competition between each guild.  For 2012 the competition was a display of the oldest household item – unfortunately due to the bad weather in August the Show was cancelled.
