Donegal History
Donegal Federation was founded in 1910 and currently has 15 Guilds. Our activities include crafts, community development work and representation at national level. We welcome new members of any age from 16 – 105+.
Donegal Federation is rich in ICA and Dungloe guild is our oldest guild having celebrated 100 years in existence it is believed to be the 3rd oldest guild in the country. Eva Coyle of Raphoe Guild in Donegal Federation was a past National President.

The September meeting was hosted by Lifford guild. Joint winners of the new name for Branra comp were Irene McLaughlin, Muff Guild, Donegal Federation and Mary Gillen, Carndonagh Guild, Donegal Federation. Both ladies picked the name Duchas (u has a fada). Louie Taylor presenting the cup to Eileen Stevens, Carndonagh guild and Olive Parke Muff guild.
