Having entertained sell-out audiences in the Pavilion Theatre in Dún Laoghaire last July, Rough Magic bring their highly acclaimed production of prize-winning Neil Simon’s Plaza Suite to the Gaiety Theatre for two weeks only.
Plaza Suite follows the misadventures of three very different couples, all facing crucial moments in their respective lives, with hilarious consequences. Recipient of more Academy and Tony nominations than any other writer, and author of The Odd Couple and Brighton Beach Memoirs, Plaza Suite showcases Simon at his best - witty, sophisticated and deliciously funny.

Arthur Riordan’s hilarious musical comedy is set during “The Emergency” in Dublin, 1941. A young British code-breaker is sent to Ireland to investigate secret radio messages. Before long, he is drawn into a web of intrigue and deception with an unlikely mix of characters. First presented in Dublin in 2004, this hit-musical has since played in the UK, New York and on a national tour

“The House Keeper” by Morna Regan at Project Arts Centre, Temple Bar
19 April – 12 May at 8pm (matinees at 3pm)
This is the premiere of Irish playwright Morna Regan’s psychological thriller - a taut three-hander, which explores the nature of possession and inheritance in the grip of the recession. Mary, a single mother in her thirties, has plans to take over Beth’s house, a rich older woman. But Beth is not easily manipulated or overpowered – what secret does she harbour?
