Killeshandra Guild hosted an Irish Night in the Resource Centre on Thursday 7th March.  We were joined by our Federation President Leila and members from Bruskey Guild.

Members of the local Ceoltas entertained us with lively traditional tunes on accordian, fiddle and guitar.

Brendan Reilly sang several songs and in his unique style of storytelling cheered up everyone with the tale of "The Tooth".

Kildallan Guild hosted an Irish Night on Tuesday 5th March in the Community Centre.  Memers contributed stories, poems and verses and there was even a tune on the tin whistle by Patricia Cooney.  The competition was for a decorated cupcake with a St. Patrick's Day theme.  The quiz took the form of nicknames for counties in Ireland and also unscrambling the names of towns and counties.  It was a good evening of fun and laughter.
