Tullow Craft Day

19-Nov-2012

Tullow Craft Day – 10th November

Our second craft day of the season was held today. Again we had a great turnout and it was super to see what had been done since the last day.

Mary Timmons’ jewellery makers made some really beautiful sets of necklaces, bracelets and ear-rings.  It is amazing to see how quickly a unique item can be produced.

Imelda Byrne’s budding milliners had fantastic fascinators and hats made in every colour.  There will be more to see on the last day as some are still a work in progress.

The knitters, with Mary Collier, were working on scarves and made some lovely and unique items – ideal Christmas gifts.

Anne Eustace and the crocheters were busy making tea-cosies and crocheted flowers to decorate them with.   Every pot of tea in Carlow will be kept toasty warm!
