ICA Teddy Bear competition in association with RTE launched

MAKE A TEDDY. SPREAD A LITTLE JOY. 

Could your teddy become the next star of Today?

The Irish Countrywomen’s Association (ICA) and RTÉ Today Show are joining forces for a brand-new nationwide Teddy Bear Competition — and we want to see your creativity! 

Whether you knit, sew, crochet, patchwork, upcycle or simply get creative, make a teddy with plenty of personality and let your imagination run wild. 

Your teddy must be no more than 15 inches / 40cm in length.

There’s a fantastic prize for the overall winner: a two-night stay away + a Hisense Smart Washing Machine!

And there’s a lovely feel-good twist — all suitable teddies entered will be donated to charities across Ireland. 

12 semi-finalists will have the chance to appear on Today, with four finalists making it through to the Grand Final .
