The National Women’s Council (NWC) is holding a rally entitled #NoWomanLeftBehind in Dublin outside the Dáil (Kildare St entrance) on Saturday 5th March at 12pm to call for political leadership and action.
We demand change. This International Women’s Day we are rallying for:
- an end to violence against women
- a healthcare system that has women at its centre
- women’s representation in all our diversity in all spaces where decisions are made affecting women’s lives
- access to quality public services and a decent income on which we all can live
We are really eager to make the rally as inclusive and accessible as possible. To create a safe place for people with mobility issues we will have a small cordoned off seated section at the front of the rally. Spaces are limited so if you would like to reserve a seat please contact Rachel Coyle on 0870976608. As the rally is taking place on a Saturday, we would encourage people to try and avoid traveling at peak times and to try and arrive early to avoid any crowding. If you have any questions or would like to discuss the rally further please contact email@example.com for more information
