There were many highlights over the recent weekend in Wexford. Firstly the commemoration at the graveside of Anita Lett, the delicious afternoon tea provided by Wexford Federation in Bree Hall, the wonderful entertainment on Friday night in the Amber Springs Hotel in Gorey and the all day Conference celebrating the 111 years of the ICA. We heard Lockdown Stories from members around the country, we heard how the ICA helped people to stay connected and combat isolation and we had an informative talk on the importance of keeping a Bee Friendly Garden. We collected shoe boxes for the Team Hope Shoebox Appeal, we enjoyed an amazing Celebration Cake made by South East Regional President Mary D’Arcy, we saw an excellent Craft Display from Wexford members, we gave out prizes, and we took home a packet of wild flower seeds sponsored by Keelings. it was great to back in action and able to be together and celebrate our wonderful association.
